Thomas Everett Deem Jr.

Thomas Everett Deem, 90, of Hot Springs Village passed away on June 24, 2015. Tom was born January 4, 1925 in New Albany, Indiana to Thomas and Glenn Deem.

Tom proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He lived in HSV for the past 23 years, was a member of the Writers Club, HSV Tennis Club and the Veterans of Foreign War. Tom was inducted into the New Albany High School Hall of Fame, he played football and basketball at Holy Cross University, He went on to get his Masters degree at Purdue University, and his Doctorate of Education at The University of Illinois.

Tom is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ann Deem, his 4 children: Scott and wife Jill, Jacquelyn Humphrey and husband Alan, Sharon Deem, Becky Walroth and husband Jeff, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

There will be a visitation from 10:30 to 11:00am on Tuesday, June 30^th at CedarVale Funeral Home with a Graveside service starting at 11:00 at CedarVale Cemetery.
